  A: Start the service of the rear shock absorber by raising and supporting the vehicle. After that, unscrew the lower nut and bolt securing the lower shock absorber to the axle bracket and then take out the upper nut, retainers and bolt to separate the shock absorber from the vehicle. If you don't have an adjustable spring, also remove the spacer tube from the upper shock absorber eye. Start the installation by putting the shock absorber in the axle bracket and then secure it with the bolt and nut. After that, fit the spacer tube into the top shock absorber eye and join the shock with the frame rail bracket, attaching both retainers, one bolt and the nut. Make sure the shock mounting nuts reach 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.), then take out the supports and lower the car.
