  A: Around the wheel, put a hub/cap remover/installer tool through the gap between the trim cover and the wheel and give it a twist to free the cover. Before installing the valve on the rear, simply insert one 1 1/2 in. extension into the stem of each rear inner wheel. Attach it with a 3/8 in. socket on your way to remove the existing valve and install the extension. After that, fit one 1 in. valve stem extension on each of the outer wheels. Place the cooling windows in the same spots as those on the wheel, set one side of the wheel skin's retainer onto the wheel, strike the skin with a rubber mallet all around and check that the distance from the sleeve/cap to the wheel surface is always the same. Pull or twist on the hub/cap wheel skin to verify it is properly secure. For the front install, place the valve stem into the matching notch, fit the wire retainer onto half the wheel skin, strike the other half of the skin and hold it in place until it is seated on the wheel, making sure the skin is nice and snug to the outer edge of the wheel. After that, wiggle the hub cap/wheel skin to be sure it is installed properly.
