How to Service and Repair a Door Check on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To service the front door check, remove the waterdam, then unscrew the door check from the A-pillar and door. Remove it through the speaker hole. For installation, position it back, tighten the nuts to 11 N.m, attach it to the A-pillar at 15 N.m, and reinstall the waterdam.
