How to Remove and Install an Oil Pan on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to get rid of the oil pan, disconnect the battery, empty the oil, and lower the exhaust pipe. Take out the starter, flywheel, and access cover. Cradle the engine, loosen the mount bolts and de-line. Wipe dry, put the gasket down and re-assemble. Lastly, re-install everything and ensure there are no leakages.
