How to Service the Cigarette Lighter Power Outlet on 2002 Jeep Liberty?

To service the cigarette lighter, remove the battery negative cable. Remove the knob and element, and snap ring pliers to remove the receptacle base from the instrument panel. Disconnect the wire harness and reconnect it and reinstall the mount. Finally, reattach the knob or the cap and reconnect the battery.
