How to Safely Remove and Install a Glove Box with the Airbag System Disabled on 2002 Jeep Liberty?

Turn off the air bag system by unhooking the negative battery cable, then after two minutes, the air bag capacitor will be empty and accidental deployment will not happen. Squeeze the stop tabs next to the glove box and open it all the way up. Once the box is down, push it to the right off its hinges and take it out. First, check the restart steps to disable the air bag system before doing the installation. Line up the glove box on the left and push it forward to fix it in place, then shut the glove box.
