How to service a drain plug on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

In order to service the radiator drain plug, it is first necessary to drain the cooling system. Open the draincock by turning it anti-clockwise and pull it from the radiator. For installation, align the stem to the opening and push it in followed by tightening clockwise and filling the cooling system.
