How to Safely Remove and Install a Steering Wheel on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

In order to replace the steering wheel, be safe not to place a non-deployed air bag facing down. Disconnect the negative cable of the battery and leave the air bag capacitor to discharge two minutes. Turn the steering wheel, pull away the driver air bag and remove the wheel using a puller. Installation/reinstallation requires fitting parts and attaching them with the retaining bolt.
