A: In servicing the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, it is essential to make sure that the engine is not hot and empty the cooling system until below sensor. Disassemble and remove the sensor of the ECT, install it back, and torque the sensor to 19 Nm (168 in. lbs.). Re-connect the electrical connector and fill the cooling system.
