2003 Chrysler Sebring Thermostat Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain Your Thermostat on 2003 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before working on the thermostat, wait until the cooling system is cool and drain it below the thermostat. Separate the hoses from the coolant outlet connector and then remove all the bolts that hold it in place. Take away the coolant outlet connector and also the thermostat connector. During installation, make the sealing surfaces clean, place the new thermostat into the coolant outlet connector, making certain the air bleed matches the notch in the connector. Secure the coolant outlet connector onto the thermostat housing with the bolts that should be tightened to 12.5 Nm (110 in. lbs.). After that, return the hoses to the coolant outlet and fill the system with antifreeze.
