How to Service and Repair a Rear Engine Mount on 2003 Chrysler Town & Country?

Before handling the rear engine mount, lift the car using a hoist. Unfasten the rear heat shield from the van's top and then get rid of the through bolt, along with the bolts from both mounts, to take apart the rear mount. Take out the bolts holding the rear mount bracket to the transaxle and then take the bracket out. After removing the rear bracket during installation, remember to install it once more. After that, mount the rear brackets on the frame, tightening the bolts to a torque of 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). After that, attach the mount to the system through the provided bolts and tighten it to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). In the end, attach the rear mount heat shield if necessary and then drive the vehicle down from the hoist.
