2003 Chrysler Voyager Air Bag Control Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair an Air Bag Control Module on 2003 Chrysler Voyager?
A: When handling the Air Bag Control Module, first use the service/diagnostic manual to diagnose the Occupant Restraint Controller. Remove the negative cable from the battery as your first step. After that, take the storage bin out of the instrument panel. After that, take out the bolts holding the ORC on the floor bracket and pull the wire connector off the ORC. Check that the area for the mount is clear of cracks or damage and that you use the appropriate screws for the job. Slide the ORC assembly into the vehicle and link the wire connector to the ORC, attaching it with the three bolts and tightening them between 65 and 85 in. lbs. When all is set, insert the storage bin back into the instrument panel, but don't plug in the negative battery cable until the air bag system has been checked.
