How to Maintain and Fix a Hood Cable on 2003 Chrysler Voyager?

To fix the hood cable, remove the hood latch and disengage the cable. Use mechanic's wire to do the installation, running the cable through the engine compartment and to the dash panel. After connecting reattach the hood release handle, engage the rubber grommet and reattach the hood latch and clips.
