  A: Before servicing the battery tray, take the battery out of the vehicle. After that, remove the two nuts attached to the rear of the battery tray and the two bolts at its front. Then, take out the retain bolt located in the center of the tray. Expecting no problems, carefully exit the battery by lifting the tray from under the air cleaner assembly while keeping the air cleaner in place. For putting in the battery, first lower the tray back under the air cleaner, screw on the nuts at the back and the bolts at the front, include the third bolt underneath and lastly install the battery into your car.
