To service the evaporator core, remove the HVAC housing and take it apart. Remove A/C evaporator, insert new coil evaporator, being careful the drain is clear and deflector shield is in place. Reassemble and reinstall the housing (add 60 milliliters of refrigerant oil if replaced).
