How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

To service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, partially drain the cooling system. For 5.2L/5.9L V-8 engines, enter the sensor by the front; for 3.9L V-6 engines, remove the engine cover and air cleaner. Disconnect the battery, take off the sensor, install the new and reconnect everything.
