How to remove and install the Ignition Lock Cylinder on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

To remove the ignition lock cylinder, insert the key, disconnect the battery and remove the steering column covers. Store the shifter in PARK position, find the holding pin, turn the key to RUN position, press the holding pin and remove the cylinder. For installation, slide the new cylinder into place until it clicks and reinsert.
