In order to repair the intake manifold, one has to disconnect the battery, release fuel pressure, take parts off, etc. Disconnect cables and hoses, disassemble the throttle body and the manifold. Wash and dry the manifold, change the gaskets and re-assemble. Lastly, all the components should be reconnected, refill cooling system, and reconnect the battery.
