How to service and repair the Pitman Arm on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Van?

To service the Pitman Arm, raise the vehicle and remove cotter pins and nuts from the tie-rod end, idler arm and pitman arm. Remove parts, dismount the pitman arm and install new parts, tightening nuts to specified torque. Finally lower the vehicle and adjust the wheel toe position as required.
