The Engine Control Module (ECM) is located close to the fuel filter. Start by taking Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and opening the negative battery cables. Take the connectors off of the ECM and the mounting bolts and slide into the new ECM without any paint on it. Reconnect all and reset DTC's and calibrate the accelerator pedal sensor.
