2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Seat Heater Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace the Seat Heater Switch for the Driver's Seat on 2003 Dodge Ram 3500?
A: When you want to replace the driver heated seat switch, first cut off and insulate the negative cable from the battery. Take out the center bezel from the instrument panel and afterwards remove the screws connecting the heated seat switch bezel to the instrument panel bezel. Remove the entire bezel around the heated seat switch as well as the two switches. With light pressure, take out the switch from the back of the heating seat and gently sweep it out of the front. The heated seat switches must be installed in the designated mounting holes on the heated seat switch bezel; the driver side switch which has its keyway closer to the bottom of the connector receptacle, goes in the left hole and the passenger side switch, with its keyway nearer the top of the connector receptacle, goes in the right hole. Push the switch of the heated seat through the front of the bezel, line up the heated seat side with the instrument panel center bezel and put in the retaining screws. Then, install the center bezel on the instrument panel and secure the negative battery cable once more.
