How to service axle shaft seals on 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

Before servicing axle shaft seals, take out the axle shaft. Afterward, use a small pry bar to pull out the seal from inside the axle tube at its end. Thoroughly remove all old sealer and the small burrs found inside the axle tube bore. Lubricate the seal lip with axle lubricant; then fit it into place using Installer C-4076-B and Handle C-4735-1 for the best result. Lastly, replace the new axle shaft.
