How to Service and Repair a Rear Brake Caliper on 2003 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

To get to the rear brake caliper to service and repair, take off the cap to the brake fluid reservoir, raise and support the vehicle, remove the rear wheels. Also remove the disc brake caliper, the disc brake pads and the disc brake caliper adapter. Apply the brake caliper adapter to the axle mount and tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.) for the M12X1.5 bolt or 170 Nm (125 ft. lbs.) for M14X1.5 bolt. Insert the disc brake pads and replace the disc brake caliper, being sure the brake hose is not twisted and has freedom of movement. Finally, put the vehicle back on and lower the rear wheels.
