A: In order to change the piston and connecting rod, one should disconnect the battery, extract the engine parts and oil pump. Clean the piston, remove connecting rod bearing cap and clean. Fit the piston and connecting rod, in their proper position. Tighten bolts, inspect clearance, and re-assemble the engine then fluid-filled and connect back the battery, therefore, turning on the engine.
