How to Service and Repair the Right Engine Mount on 2003 Dodge Stratus?

First, get rid of the coolant recovery container and remove the front attaching screw from the heater tube to service the correct engine mount. Lift the vehicle on a hoist, take out the inner splash shield and afterwards, unscrew the connecting screw at the back of the heater tube. After that, take out the vertical fasteners of the right engine support assembly from the frame rail. Use a floor jack and a block on the oil pan to lower the engine and support it, as this way the engine motor mounts won't support the engine's weight. Take off the bolts that hold the engine support assembly to the engine bracket and then remove the right engine mount as well. When installing the mounts, set them snugly and tighten all the frame rail bolts to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Attach the mount to the engine support bracket needle through the bolts and tighten these to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). With the vehicle on a hoist, put the rear attaching screw into position on the heater tube. Replace the inner splash shield, lower the vehicle and put in the heater tube front attaching screw and coolant recovery container.
