How to Service and Repair a Thermostat Housing on 2003 Dodge Stratus?

The thermostat housing needs to be repaired by means of draining the cooling system, disassembling the thermostat, un-hooking the coolant sensor and heater hose, and removing the housing and gasket. Wipe down, fit the new gasket and housing, screw bolts up to 28 Nm, reconnect, and fill up the cooling system.
