How to Upgrade Your Car Speakers in the Rear Door on 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The first step to changing the rear door speaker is to disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Following this, remove the retaining screws. Unplug the wire harness from the speaker connector at the rear door and remove the speaker from its place along the inner panel. During installation, adhere the new speaker to the inner side of the rear door and plug the rear door wire harness back into the speaker receptacle. First, add and tighten all three screws to 20 in. lbs., then fit the trim panel securely onto the top of the rear door. Lastly, put the copper end of the black cable back onto its terminal.
