How to Install Car Speakers in the Front Door, Instrument Panel, and Rear Door on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To set up the speaker in the front door, attach the wire harness connector to the speaker, line up the speaker inside the door, drive the fastening screws, mount and trim the door panel and attach the battery negative cable last. First, hook up the wire harness connector of the instrument panel to the speaker, put the speaker where it belongs in the panel, fasten the speaker with the appropriate screws, fit the grille in place and wire the negative end of the battery to the speaker. On the rear door, attach the wire harness connector to the speaker, place the speaker in the door, install and tighten the fasteners, install the trim and finish up by connecting the negative cable from the battery.

How to Remove Car Speakers from the Front Door, Instrument Panel, and Rear Door on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To remove the front door from the speaker, first take out and isolate the negative battery cable. Remove the trim all around the front doors and the fasteners that hold them, then get the speaker out of the door and unplug the wire harness connector. Before continuing, disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable to shut down the air bag system and wait two minutes so the capacitor is exhausted. After that, take out the speaker grille from the instrument panel, remove the speaker and disconnect the connector on the wire harness. Just like before, unhook the negative battery cable, take off the trim panel and remove the screws from the rear door. Next, take out the speaker from the door and unplug the wire harness finally.
