2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Windshield Washer Nozzle Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain Your Windshield Washer Nozzle on 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: First, prop up the hood, unlatch and open it and then remove the arms of the front wiper from where they pivot on the wiper blades. Then, remove the cover or grille panel placed over the cowl plenum. On the bottom side of the lid, disconnect the hose from the barbed washer nozzle and let out the quick release of the nozzle by pushing up toward the top through the middle hole of the cover. Unhook the washer nozzle entirely from where it sits on the top of the cowl plenum cover or grille panel. Slot the nipple end of the new front washer nozzle into the mounting hole so that its anti-rotation tab fits into the notch. Push down hard on the nozzle until the subflap parts connect with the bottom of the cover. Secure the washer hose back to the barbed nipple and make sure its clips are connected to the routing clips hidden under the cowl cover/grille panel's bottom. Because wiring under the hood can be tricky, try to avoid moving the hood once the wiring has been completed.
