How to Remove and Reinstall the Center Console Base on 2003 Jeep Liberty?

If your vehicle has a shift bezel, take it off before you try to remove the floor console. The park brake lever should be in the direction that pulls it highest in the car. Use a trim stick C-4755 or an identical device to disconnect the manual transmission shifter boot and the transfer case shifter boot if they are fitted to the vehicle. After that, unscrew the four bolts holding the console in place and pull the console forward to get it out. While installing, face the digital panel forward and let the rear hang down over the shifter and brake levers. First, mount the bolts, then set the shift boots back in place and secure the retainers. At last, put the shift bezel back into place.
