  A: First, take out the negative battery cable before removing the wiper arms, cowl screen and cowl plenum. Following this, disconnect the air plenum from the throttle body, eliminate the throttle cable mounting and remove the electrical connectors and the top vacuum hose. Unbolt the three bolts holding the throttle body onto the head, along with its support bracket from beneath. Open the throttle to the fullest position and separate the cables from the throttle arm after removing them. Then, scrub the joining points of each surface. When installing, have the throttle lever completely open and thread the throttle cable and speed control cable through their holes. Mount the throttle body and add the bolts, tightening them with 11.9 N.m (105 in. lbs.) of torque. Put the throttle body support bracket on the bottom of the throttle body and tighten its bolts to 27.1 N.m (20 ft. lbs.). Fix the vacuum hose, the throttle cable bracket and secure the bolts with a wrench. Firmbox the air plenum, then fit and secure the rest: the cowl plenum, cowl screen and wiper arms. After that, put the negative cable back on the battery.
