Is It Possible to Replace the Water Pump Without Discharging the Air Conditioning System on 2004 Chrysler Concorde?

The water pump can be replaced without discharging the air conditioning system. A small leak of coolant is normal but if it leaks heavily it is an indication of a shaft seal failure. Before replacement, drain the cooling system, remove necessary parts and check the pump. Reinstall backwards, making sure to apply the proper torque and sealing.
