In order to disassemble the front coil spring, make sure that the vehicle is on its wheels and disassemble the upper shock absorber nut and lower shock bolt. Hold the upper control arm and squeeze the spring using special tools and take it off. Installation requires that the new spring be installed, control arm in place and everything tightened.
