  A: Remove the outside door glass ahead of repairing the window regulator so you can clear the door from any leftover rivets or broken pieces of metal. Take out both rivets and loosen the bolt to where you can easily move the window lift mechanism free from the bracket. Undo the upper regulator bolt between the inner and outer door panels and remove the upper and lower door nuts behind the plugs at the lower door opening. Remove the window motor cable by undoing its tensioner and use the assembly opening in the door to lift and rotate the window regulator. First, put the window regulator (5) through its opening, mount the power window motor on the assembly with three rivets (2) and attach the power window motor (6). Set the four bottom door nuts into the door bottom and re-install the rubber seals and then insert the upper window regulator nut between the inner and outer panel of the door. The next step is to reinstall the door glass in the front door.
