2004 Chrysler Pacifica EGR Valve Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Effectively Service and Repair an EGR Valve on 2004 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: The first step for EGR valve service or repair is to disconnect the negative battery cable, then disconnect the positive cable and finally remove the battery. After that, open and unplug the connector from the EGR valve. Unbolt the two EGR tubes, plus the two bolts securing on the EGR valve and gasket. You should start installation by placing the two bolts into the EGR valve and gasket, then fit the EGR valve to the cylinder head and the EGR tube to the valve. After installing the valve and tube, secure their bolts, link the electrical connector, set the battery back on and attach the positive and then the negative battery cables.
