How to Service and Repair a Battery Tray on 2004 Dodge Dakota?

Before fixing or repairing the battery tray, first pull out the battery and take out the tray (1) by undoing the bolts (2). Set the battery tray (1) in its place and attach it with the retaining bolts (2). Make sure all bolts are at 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.) before you install the battery.
