How to Maintain and Fix an Air Bag on 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Start the service or repair of the air bag by removing any powder from inside the vehicle. Take out the instrument panel and move the reusable things from the top section to the new instrument panel. When the air bag hasn't been used, first remove the instrument panel and reveal the passenger air bag fasteners, pull out the yellow connector close to the air bag and then remove the bolts attaching the air bag to access it from behind the rear of the faceplate. Put back the reusable elements on the new instrument panel, attach the new Passenger air bag as tight as possible and reconnect the yellow wire. Set the instrument cluster into place once everything else is installed. Dead batteries and air bags are bad, so do not hook the negative cable up until the air bag system has been checked.
