How to Maintain Your Front Brake Caliper on 2004 Dodge Ram 1500?

Before you service the front brake caliper, the vehicle should be raised and supported and the tire and wheel assembly removed. After that, use a wrench to loosen the disc brake caliper from its bolts and take out the caliper adapter that is attached to the steering knuckle. First, put the caliper adapter onto the steering knuckle and use the 176 Nm (130 ft. lbs.) tightened mounting bolts to secure it. After that, fit the disc brake caliper, set the tire and wheel assembly back and lastly, remove the support to bring the car down.
