How to Service an Oil Pressure Switch on 2004 Dodge Ram 1500?

The first thing to do for oil pressure sensor service is to disconnect the negative battery cable and then lift the vehicle with a hoist. Take out the front splash shield and break the wire of the oil pressure sender before you remove the sender. The first step in installation is to put in the oil pressure sender and attach the related wire. Completely reassemble the front splash shield, drive the car off the ramps and attach the negative battery cable.
