How to service an Oil Pressure Switch on 2005 Dodge Ram 1500?

First, pull off the negative cable from the battery and then raise your car using a hoist. First, take out the front splash shield and cut the oil pressure sender link (4) and lastly, remove the oil pressure sender device (2). The initial step for installing is to put in the oil pressure sender and then connect the wire for the sender. Attach the front splash shield back, lower the vehicle and join the negative battery cable.
