How to Maintain and Fix a Throttle Cable on 2004 Dodge Ram 2500?

In order to repair the throttle control cable you will need to disconnect both the negative battery cables. Remove the accelerator pedal position sensor and the throttle cable. Pull the cable housing into the engine compartment, remove the cover and disconnect the cable from the throttle lever. Unplug and plug the cable back in and test the battery for binding.
