Start by emptying the cooling unit of refrigerant with an R134a recovery machine before you change the A/C suction hose/line. After that, detach the suction line from the compressor and take out the bolt connecting the shock tower to the suction line. Once that step is done, detach the suction line from the expansion valve and plug the compressor and expansion valve to avoid moisture in the system. To put the A/C unit in place, insert the suction line into the expansion valve using a NEW O-ring and tighten it so it reaches 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.). Add a fresh O-ring to the suction line, attach it to the compressor and fasten the bolt to 22.5 Nm (199 in. lbs.). Set up the shock tower on the suction line bracket and tighten the bolt to 6.8 Nm (60.1 in. lbs.). Lastly, take out the refrigerant and then fill the system back up.
