How to Service the Cigarette Lighter Power Outlet on 2004 Dodge Stratus?

To work on the cigarette lighter, disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable first. After that, take out the lower cover from the left side console and disconnect the wires from the cigarette lighter. Lift the retainer found at the back of the cigarette lighter and then take the cigarette lighter out. Let's start by fitting the cigarette lighter to the instrument panel, then attach the retainer to it. Couple together the connectors on the wire harness, install the lower left side console cover and lastly refit the negative battery cable.
