How to Service the Cigarette Lighter Power Outlet on 2005 Dodge Stratus?

Before handling the auxiliary cigarette lighter, release and separate the battery negative cable from the battery post. After that, pull off the lower cover on the left side console and release the connectors from the cigarette lighter. From behind the cigarette lighter, twist the retainer and then take out the lighter. First, set up the cigarette lighter onto the instrument panel and then attach the retainer to the lighter. Grab the wire harness connectors, set the lower left side console cover in place and attach the battery negative cable.
