2004 Dodge Stratus Fuse Box Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair the Fuse Box and Body Control Module on 2004 Dodge Stratus?
A: Before servicing or repairing the Junction Block and Body Control Module, cut off the connection of the remote accessory battery cable to the left shock tower's remote terminal. First, open the front driver's door and take out the end cap, then remove the center bezel, the instrument cluster hood and the silencer. After that, take out the six wire harness connectors from the Junction Block and remove the three mounting screws. Disconnect the wire connectors on the BCM and take out the Junction Block/BCM from the vehicle. After removing, separate the BCM from the Junction Block by taking out its attaching screws and disconnecting it. You should first put the Junction Block on the vehicle and attach the BCM before tightening it with screws. Once you have installed the Junction Block, you should reconnect your BCM wires, tighten down the screws on the Junction Block and connect the wire harnesses. After everything is completed, fit the silencer, instrument cluster hood, center bezel and end cap and link the metal end to the negative battery terminal.
