Should the PDC or the headlamp/dash wire harness have internal problems, the system must be replaced in its entirety. Let's start by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery and then remove the Air Inlet System, along with the housing and resonator. Remove every wire harness connector and get rid of the fasteners joining the wire harness ground eyelets to the body and underlying chassis of the car. Unhook the retainers on the body connecting the engine compartment wire harness and remove the nut attaching the PDC to its place on the mounting bracket. With the PDC and wire harness removed as one, the rest of the car can be taken out. To install it, fit the PDC to the engine compartment, with the mounting slots matching the blades on the mounting bracket; place the mounting nut onto the PDC. Guide the wire harness from the PDC to the engine compartment, fastening each harness retainer to the places where they are meant to go in the vehicle's body and chassis. Fasten and tighten every ground eyelet of each engine compartment wire harness to the vehicle's body and chassis parts, reattach all the wire harness connectors and after that connect the negative cable of the battery.
