How to Maintain and Fix a Throttle Cable on 2004 Jeep Liberty?

To fix the throttle cable, you have to remove the plastic retainer and cable core wire of the accelerator pedal. Remove the air box from the dash panel and run the cable out of the dash panel and into the engine compartment. Reinstall by reversing the steps and make sure proper alignment and securing of all components before testing accelerator.
