How to Maintain Battery Cables on 2004 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to service battery cables, switch off the ignition and accessories. Unscrew negative and positive cables, disconnect associated terminals and screws. Install, fit clean terminals, reconnect, tighten to recommended torque. Lastly, smear the terminals and the clamp with petroleum jelly or grease.
