How to Maintain Your Thermostat for Optimal Performance on 2005 Chrysler 300?

In order to service the engine coolant thermostat, remove the negative cable and empty the cooling system. Take off radiator hose, thermostat housing and heater tube. wipe the surfaces, fit in the new thermostat and reassemble. Tighten all the bolts, reconnect the hose, and refill the cooling system and reconnect the negative cable.
