How to Maintain Your Thermostat for Optimal Engine Coolant Performance on 2006 Chrysler 300?

In order to service the engine coolant thermostat, unconnect the negative cable and drain the cooling system. Note: loosen the lower radiator hose, heater tube and thermostat housing. Wipe down, fit in the new thermostat and put together. Connect all bolts, reconnect hose, fill up cooling system and reglue negative cable.
